Where do I begin?
--This fun and exciting process begins with trying on dresses until you find “the ONE”.

Do I need an appointment for a consultation?
--Yes. Avril will spend up to 2 hours with each bride. Appointments are available 7 days a week.

What is the cost?
--A $40 consultation fee; there is no additional fee for a revisit. All credit card payments incur a 2% surcharge.

How many people can I bring to my try-on?
--At our very large showroom, we place no limit on the number of attendees.

When do I begin my search for a wedding gown?
--After you are engaged, and have booked a venue, the wedding dress should be the next item on your list, as everything else is an accessory to you in your dress!

How long will an ordered dress take to arrive?
--Some gowns can be purchased from in-stock, however we frequently “special-order” a dress for a bride in the colour and size of her choice, which can take from 3 to 5 months to make. Some styles can be “rush-ordered” for a fee, but generally try to allow 4-6 months for your gown to arrive. We will always try to help a bride with a short time duration to her special day!

Will my gown fit when it arrives:
--With all “ready-to-wear” apparel, and also with bridal wear, your gown or bridesmaid dress is ordered in the designer’s size closest to your measurements, which are taken by our professionally-trained staff, or supplied to us.

Will I need alterations?
--Alterations are often required, to fine-tune the fit and adjust the length, and we provide this service, or you can have it done elsewhere. You will need your bra and shoes for your alteration fitting. Alteration is an additional cost.

How is payment made?
--We require a 50% deposit at the time your dress/bridesmaids are purchased/ordered, or feel free to have us create a payment schedule for you. The balance is due when the gown/bridesmaids arrive. There is a 2% surcharge for credit cards. We are happy to store your dress/es free of charge after your final payment is made. Sale price garments must be fully paid for within 3 months, unless a special arrangement has been made.

Can I get a refund if my wedding is cancelled?
--Unfortunately not. Discounted dresses cannot be returned, and dresses that are a “special-order” are not eligible for a refund, as they have been ordered just for you.

Am I limited to only gowns on your showroom floor?
--With possibly the largest selection of gowns in the country, brides have no difficulty in making a choice. However in many instances customisation is possible—adding sleeves or a modesty panel, a jacket or belt to match, etc… We also have many styles available to order which are not in our showroom currently.

Do you sell accessories?
--Yes. All our veils are custom-made by us to your specification; and other accessories like jewellery, belts, hairpieces, etc. are also available.
